• Upton: Mission Hasn’t Changed Since First Term

    U.S. Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, said his focus since he was first elected in 1986 has been on creating jobs and on working with all parties to get things done.

    He said since January 2013, he has helped get 62 bills passed through the House of Representatives, with all but four or five having bipartisan support. By the end of next week, he said 16 of those bills will have been signed into law by President Barack Obama.
