• Congressman Fred Upton Announces Re-Elect

    ‘We’re totally focused on our bipartisan track record and the work ahead’

    JOSEPH, MI – Congressman Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, on Monday officially filed for re-election in Michigan’s Sixth Congressional District.

    “We are full steam ahead and excited about the future,” said Upton. “Helping folks, getting results, jobs, our economy, improving health care, our Great Lakes, and more. That’s what we’ve always been dedicated to. Its clear folks want responsible, bipartisan, problem solvers now more than ever. We’re totally focused on our positive track record and the work ahead of us.”

    Upton and his campaign team on Monday turned in more than the requisite amount of petition signatures to the Michigan Secretary of State’s office, ensuring ballot access.

    Upton represents Michigan’s Sixth Congressional District which includes all of Berrien, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties and most of Allegan County. He won re-election in 2016 with 59 percent of the vote.
