Former State Senator Backs Upton Reelection Campaign

A new endorsement for Congressman Fred Upton. This week, former State Senator Dale Shugars threw his support behind the Sixth District representative.
Shugars was Kalamazoo County’s senator for eight years, and is now Executive Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Kalamazoo. He said in an endorsement statement that Upton has worked to free homebuilders from excessive regulation. For his part, Upton thanked Shugars for the support.
